How do I purchase a membership and how much does it cost?

Memberships are active immediately upon purchase.
How is the new membership program different?
Our new membership program brings you flexibility as to who you bring to the Museum. On each visit, you can invite any family member, friend or caregiver – they no longer need to reside in your household.
To get started, choose the headcount level that best suits your needs (see our membership page for a complete list of levels offered). Please note, your chosen level will include anyone age 2+; one named cardholder (16+) must be present for each visit; and the daily cap on general admission is determined by the number of people covered by your chosen membership level.
How can I access my membership card?
All of our membership cards are digital and can be accessed through your emailed receipt upon purchase. They can be downloaded into your Apple or Android Wallet and scanned onsite at our kiosks for quick log in to reserve/purchase tickets onsite.
As the primary cardholder, do I need to be present for every Museum visit?
No, you can name additional persons (ages 16+) as cardholders in instances where there are other family members or caregivers that might like to visit without the primary cardholder present. Keep in mind, at least one named cardholder must be present for every visit.
How can I log in to my account?
Use your membership ID number (on your digital membership card or in your purchase email) and the primary member’s last name to log in and reserve/purchase your tickets and/or other experiences.
How can I reserve general admission tickets?
Members will be able to reserve their free general admission tickets online, either during the checkout page when buying/renewing their membership or by logging in as an existing member.
Members will receive a daily admission allowance that matches their membership level. For example, if you are an Explore 5 member, you will receive 5 free daily general admissions. Any additional guests (ages 2+) in your party will need to purchase a regular-price general admission ticket, or you can upgrade your membership level to cover more people.
Do memberships offer discounts on parking, dining and shopping?
Yes! Members receive a 50% discount on parking for our Main Museum Parking Lot (located under Woodall Rodgers Freeway). The member parking rate is $5/vehicle, up to 3 vehicles daily. Remember to pay for parking inside the Museum (not in the parking lot) to receive a discounted parking voucher that you will use to exit the lot.
Members also receive a discount in our Café and Museum Shop. Simply present your digital membership card at check out to receive a 10% off your purchases.
Do memberships offer discounts on films, traveling exhibitions and Thursdays on Tap?
Only our Explore-level memberships offer discounted pricing on films, traveling exhibitions and Thursdays on Tap.
Log in to your account to book these tickets or purchase onsite at the Box Office. The number of discounted tickets will match the level of your membership. For example, if you have an Explore 5 membership, you will have access to 5 discounted tickets per experience, per visit.
Core-level members do not receive the discounted pricing on films, traveling exhibitions and Thursdays on Tap. To unlock this benefit, upgrade to an Explore membership by contacting email@example.com.
What are Flex Tickets?
Each of our additional experiences (films, traveling exhibitions and Thursdays on Tap) have their own ticket pricing, but any Explore-level member will receive single-use Flex Tickets to redeem for free entry to the experience of their choice. Afterwards, Explore members will receive discounted pricing on films, traveling exhibitions and Thursdays on Tap.
Your Flex Tickets will be automatically redeemed on your first online checkout and will discount the most expensive experience in your online cart. Flex Tickets are not available for refill at this time.
Core-level members do not receive Flex Tickets. To unlock this benefit, upgrade to an Explore membership by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org.
When are members-only hours?
Members-only hours will be the first full weekend of each month: Saturday 9 to 10 a.m. and Sunday 10 to 11 a.m.
You may bring the number of people as covered by your membership. For example, if you have an Explore 5 membership, you may bring a party (including yourself) of 5 people. Additional guests not will be permitted during members-only hours.
Do memberships offer discounts to Discovery Camp programs?
Yes! Explore-level members will receive priority access and discounted rates to our Discovery Camp programs. Subscribe to our email updates for camp booking announcements.

What is the Museum’s membership cancellation and refund policy?
As a nonprofit organization, the Museum memberships are nonrefundable and nontransferable.
Membership benefits are subject to change.
How can I update the name(s) or personal information on my account?

Are there any discounts on Museum memberships?
We offer a 15% discount on every future renewal if you sign up for Auto-Renewal (applicable as long as the membership is enrolled in the auto-renewal program).
If you are an educator (K-12), retired or active military or first responder, you can receive a 15% discount by bringing us a relevant ID card to the Box Office or Membership Desks at the Museum.
Discounts cannot be combined.
Can I enroll my membership in Auto-Renewal?
Yes! Any of our memberships are available to be on auto-renewal. When checking out with your membership, check the box to sign up for auto-renewal. Every future renewal will receive an automatic 15% discount (applicable as long as the membership is enrolled in the auto-renewal program). Auto-renewals are nonrefundable.
Can I apply my general admission ticket purchase towards the cost of a membership?
Of course! Regular general admission ticket prices can be applied towards the cost of new memberships within one week of your visit. The number and type of applicable tickets varies with the membership level you purchase. Contact email@example.com to find out more.
Tickets purchased from third-party vendors are not applicable; other restrictions may apply.
Does the Perot Museum membership offer reciprocal access to other museums?
Yes! All Perot Museum memberships are part of the ASTC Passport Travel Program. If you travel 90 miles away from the Perot Museum AND your home address, you can gain free general admission to hundreds of participating museums. Find the list here.
If you are an ASTC member from a valid, participating museum that is 90+ miles away from the Perot Museum (and your home address is also 90+ miles away from the Perot Museum), bring your membership card from a participating institution to our Box Office. At the Membership Desk, you can secure free general admission for up to 2 adults and 3 children. No other benefits will apply.
In addition, Explore-level members also receive local reciprocity. You can use your digital membership card to gain free general admission for up to 2 adults and 3 children to the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History and the Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary.

Can I purchase a membership as a gift?
Of course, giving the gift of science is easy! Simply head to Gift Memberships and purchase the level you wish to give. You will only need to enter in your email address and your payment details.
You will then receive a digital gift membership certificate via email. It will contain a unique one-time use code, and you can forward the email or print out the certificate for your recipient.
Are memberships tax deductible?
Our Core memberships are 100% tax deductible – please save your purchase receipt for your records.
Our Explore memberships are partially tax deductible. Visit our membership page for more information.
