Experience a one-night-only celebration of soccer, science, culture, and community at Thursdays on Tap: Soccer Edition at the Perot Museum. Inspired by the Soccer: More Than a Game exhibition and the global energy surrounding the world’s game, this special edition transforms the Museum building and grounds into an immersive soccer experience packed with interactive activities, live music, global flavors, and high-energy fun for fans of all ages.

Whether you’re a passionate soccer fan, a curious explorer, or simply looking for one of the most unique summer events in Dallas, Thursdays on Tap: Soccer Edition is your chance to experience the world’s game in a whole new way.

Tickets:

  • Adults — $27
  • Youth (Ages 2-12) — $17
  • Explore members and above — $7

Children under the age of 2 do not require a ticket.

Tickets are on sale for Founders Circle. Tickets for all members go on sale May 19. Public ticket sales begin May 22.

Feel the rush of the game as you test your reflexes, measure your kicking power, and explore the brain-body connection that drives top performance. Packed with interactive challenges, real-world science, and behind-the-scenes innovations, this experience shows how curiosity, creativity, and teamwork make the world’s favorite game possible.

Special Activities, Food, and Drinks

Explore hands-on activities throughout the Museum including STEM activities, robotics challenges, stadium design interactives, and more. Guests can also experience Soccer: More Than a Game while enjoying a festival-like event inspired by soccer culture from around the world with live music, outdoor games, community partners, and more.

Fuel up with local favorites and globally inspired food offerings, all celebrating the world of soccer, from featured food trucks and Wolfgang Puck Catering, alongside beer from Community Beer Co., wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase.

Know Before You Go

Directions and Parking

  • Self-parking is available in the Main Museum Parking Lot located under Woodall Rodgers Freeway, on Broom Street across from the Museum. Parking is $10 per car; only credit card payments are accepted. There is not a discount for member parking.
  • Taking public transportation, carpooling or taking designated driver services are also great options! Due to the type of event, we are encouraging ride-share.

Entry

  • After purchasing your ticket online, you will receive a confirmation email with your ticket(s) and receipt. Please print your ticket or have the QR code handy on your smartphone to be scanned upon arrival.
  • Tickets are also available at the gate, if not previously sold out.
  • For guests age 21+, please have your state-issued ID card or driver’s license ready to show at the entrance to be issued a wristband allowing you to purchase alcohol.

Bag Policy

  • Guests can bring clear bag that is not larger than 12” x 6” x 12”, a one-gallon clear resealable bag, or a small clutch bag that is not larger than 4.5” x 6.5”.
  • No backpacks, fanny packs, cinch bags, coolers, luggage, computer bags, camera bags, or any bag larger than permitted size will be allowed into the event.
  • Bags will be screened as you enter. Security has final say on what is and isn’t permitted.

Food and Drinks

  • No outside food or beverages allowed, with the exception of one (1) factory-sealed soft plastic water bottle per guest.
  • No need to eat before you come! Food and beverage stations, food trucks, and Museum Café will offer a variety of tasty treats and delicious bites for purchase from 3 to 9pm.
  • Drinks will be available for purchase at our bars, located inside the Museum halls and outside on the Plaza. Last call will begin at 8:45pm.

Inclement Weather

  • This event will take place rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, the musician(s), bars, games and food truck access will be available inside the Museum. Make sure to check the website homepage or our Instagram page for updates.

Prohibited Items
The following items are prohibited at the Thursdays on Tap: Soccer Edition event:

  • Weapons or firearms of any kind are allowed, even if you have a permit.
  • Tripods, monopods, and selfie-sticks
  • Drones or remote-controlled aircraft
  • Wagons or stroller-wagons (basic strollers are permitted)
  • Umbrellas
  • Chairs or personal seating devices
  • Outside food or beverages, including alcohol
  • Animals, except for service animals
  • Tobacco, smoking devices, and illegal substances
  • Fireworks, fuel, or explosive materials of any kind
  • Kites, frisbees, inflatables, or air horns
