Unleash Your Imagination
Become an engineer as you uncover how math and science are used to solve everyday problems. Throughout the Engineering and Innovation Hall, you’ll gain an understanding of the importance of these two disciplines as you build a better building, play tag with a robot and test your engineering know-how in our ChallENGe Lab.
ChallENGe Lab
Flex your creative muscles at the ChallENGe Lab! Featuring free art, engineering and tech programs, this makerspace area is designed to give you a hands-on experience that will have you thinking like an engineer.
The Lab offers come-and-go activities fit for all ages, including children as young as 6 years old. Anyone 10 and older (with the exception of Teen Tuesdays, which is reserved for students 13+) can also participate in maker workshops covering a variety of subjects – from art-making and robotics to 3D printing and design. These workshops happen every Tuesday-Friday at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. and last about an hour (some exceptions may apply). Class sizes are limited and sign up is on a first-come, first-served basis.
For more information on the ChallENGe Lab, please email techtruck@perotmuseum.org.
