Homeschool Day: Superhero Academy
Wednesday, September 10, 2025 | 11am-3pm
Homeschoolers, assemble! No cape needed for this superhero training session! Explore the Museum and engage in activities that explore the science behind super powers such as super strength, invisibility, and X-ray vision. Visit every station to become a science superhero!
Zoom down to our Lower Level Auditorium for an 11:30am or 1:30pm explosive Science on Stage show.
Activities are complimentary with general admission. Space is limited so we encourage purchasing your tickets in advance.
Family-friendly superhero costumes welcome. Please no masks covering the face.
The Whynauts®
Across 11 episodes, students in grades K-8 learn alongside The Whynauts® as they learn and explore science topics, including ecosystems, dinosaurs, and meteorology.
Each video features educator guides and student activities that bring STEM to life. Use this as a resource for science learning, cross-curricular engagement, STAAR review, summer enrichment, or preparation for the upcoming school year!

Photo Scavenger Hunt
Explore, discover, and learn with our self-guided scavenger hunt! This activity will challenge your observation skills while taking you on a journey throughout the Museum’s captivating exhibit halls, from the prehistoric worlds within the T.
