Dino Fest 2018

Join the fun this Labor Day weekend at our inaugural Dino Fest — a celebration of all things dinosaur! Meet Museum paleontologists and get a first look at the new Paleo Lab, take in a paleo talk in the Beer Garden, enjoy micro tours of the exhibits, dinosaur trivia, and special workshops, and even meet modern-day dinosaurs. Younger guests can become junior paleontologists as they practice their excavation skills in dino dig pits, learn all about Arctic dinosaurs from Museum paleontologists, create dinosaur-themed crafts, learn about coprolites (AKA dinosaur poop), and try to accomplish simple tasks only using their "T. rex arms." Plus, you're invited to wear your favorite dinosaur gear or costume to get in the spirit!

Get tickets now to skip the line. Space is limited.

Featured Activities include:

  • New Paleo Lab
  • Dino Dig Pits
  • Live Music

Stealing the show in the Lobby will be an immersive “Back to the Jurassic” augmented reality experience that puts you up-close with dinosaurs such as DiplodocusVelociraptor and T. rex. Come listen in as we highlight just a few of the paleontological discoveries known from our own backyards!
