Fantastic Flyers Sleepover

Fri, May 22 at 6:30pm

Join us for a night of fun and learning! At the Fantastic Flyers Sleepover we’ll get an up close look at almost anything that can fly! We’ll play games, conduct experiments, and talk to experts that can teach us about the science behind flight.

Some of the special activities at this sleepover will include:

  • Helping make frames for mini hot air balloons and getting to watch them launch
  • Getting up close to some really cool bugs and learning about how they fly
  • Learning why some birds can fly and some can’t
  • Getting to build a foam rocket and launching it in a race against your friends and other guests

Along with these activities, we will also feature a scavenger hunt for prizes, a Dino Dance Party, a light snack, a film in the theater, a Live Science Show and, a light breakfast, and of course general admission to all of our outstanding general exhibit halls.

For those seeking a convenient and onsite dinner option, the Café, operated by Wolfgang Puck, will be open 6:30pm to 8:30pm.
