Scout Adventures BSA

Citizenship in the Nation

Sun, Feb 23 at 11am

In this workshop Scouts BSA participants will learn what it means to be a good citizen. They will learn the fundamentals of our federal government and the principles upon which it was founded. This workshop will focus largely on the structure, powers, and responsibilities of our federal government, but will also consider its relationship with local and state governments as they work together to serve our needs.

The requirements that we will and will not complete in class are as follows:

  • In Class: 1, 4, 5,6,7, part of 8
  • Pre-Work: Part of 2, 3, part of 8 (writing to an official)

Along with all the fun and learning in the adventure, Scouts BSA participants will also enjoy free general admission to the Museum. Parents and siblings can even take advantage of discounted general admission so that they can join in the fun.
