Learn how gems and minerals are faceted in this demonstration by a local geologist.
10am–3pm Land Art with Oil and Cotton Level 2 Landing
Learn how land artists manipulate the earth and transform the natural environment. Make a gravel texture tile inspired by artist Robert Smithson’s Spiral Jetty.
