Discovery is around every corner at the Perot Museum! Learn about our exhibit halls and check out our interactive map to plan your visit. You’ll do a lot of walking, so plan on wearing comfortable shoes! The average visit time is 3-4 hours.
Conveniently located near Downtown Dallas and accessible via DART, the Perot Museum is walkable from the nearby Arts District, Klyde Warren Park and American Airlines Center. Paid Museum parking is open as available, and nearby lots serve as overflow parking options.
Already have tickets? Bring your printed ticket(s) purchased online or pull up your ticket on your smartphone device and skip the box office line. You can also use the kiosks located in the Museum Lobby to purchase/reserve tickets or print out pre-reserved tickets. Head directly to the exhibits entry to have your ticket scanned and begin your Perot Museum adventure.
If you’re looking for the full Museum experience, take the continuous-flow escalator for a scenic ride up and work your way down the stairs. Don’t forget the Lower Level, where adventure awaits in the Moody Family Children’s Museum, Sports Hall and Jan and Trevor Rees-Jones Exhibition Hall. Or, if you have limited time, choose the exhibit halls that fuel your passion for science or pique your interest.
Visitors with children five years and younger can choose to start on the Lower Level to hit the Children’s Museum first, accessible via musical stairs or elevator. There are 950 steps throughout the campus. Will you cover them all?
With all that learning and interacting, you’re likely to work up an appetite. Tasty snack, meal and beverage options are available in the Café, near the Museum entrance on the Main Level. Enjoy your Café purchase at a table in the Café, or in the great outdoors on the plaza.
We bet you can't come just once! If you enjoyed your visit and want to come back for more, stop by the box office where you can show your receipt to apply your ticket purchase from the date of your visit toward the cost of a new membership – then come back again and again!
