The Museum Café operates seven days a week, opening at 10:45am to the general public Monday through Friday, 10am with limited menu on Saturdays with full menu at 10:30am and 11am with limited menu on Sundays with full menu at noon, and closes one hour before the Museum's closing time. The Café is operated by Wolfgang Puck.
The Café offers delicious and seasonally fresh meals and snacks, highlighting local Texas ingredients. Located inside to the right of the main entrance of the Museum, the Café overlooks the outdoor plaza. Guests can enjoy individual oven-baked pizzas, build-your-own salad bar, handcrafted sandwiches and satisfying soups, and of course, freshly cooked burgers, hot dogs and fries available at the grill. Don't forget to pick up your freshly baked cookie, cupcake or colorful Rice Crispy treat for dessert. In addition, Chef Luis offers a daily special that is sure to satisfy your inner foodie. There is also a selection of items for "little science lovers" (i.e. the kid's menu) as well as a "Grab & Go" option featuring pre-made salads, sandwiches and beverages.
