History in the making

How many people does it take to build a museum? Just what is the “skin” of the building made of and how did they make it? The Museum’s initial temporary exhibit will answer these questions and more as it brings to light some of the stories of the more than 2,500 people it took to create the building and exhibits. From paleontologists rebuilding prehistory animals to the construction workers bending steel and pouring concrete to house the dinosaurs, the exhibit will provide a window into how the building was built. The exhibit will be broken into the following sections:

  • History
  • Concept
  • Prototype
  • Construction
  • Fabrication

Watch as the Museum is built from the ground up.
