North Texas Championship Tournament

The FIRST LEGO® League Annual Championship Robotics Tournament is a high-energy event held each January to close the FLL season. Top scoring teams from each of the qualifying tournaments are invited to participate in the region's highest level of competition. Teams showcase their science and technology skills as well as their ability to work as a team, address real-world problems and propose innovative solutions. 



5th Annual Championship Tournament

The Tournament was held on January 12, 2013 at the Hockaday School. The 1st Place Championship team was the Model Scouts from Plano, TX. The Model Scouts, as a result of their win have moved on to participate in the North America Open Championship at Legoland California this upcoming May.  

The 1st Place Robot Performance Award went to the Mustang Robotics team from Heath, TX. The 2nd Place Championship Award and 2nd Place Robot Performance Award went to the Technic Eagles team from Carrollton, TX.
