Sorry it has been so long since my last post! How about a couple real-time updates and then I will attempt a recap of the week which I hope will provide context, explain my lack of posts and sum up everything that has been going on! But first, one of the items that has taken my attention is our visit by Katrina Gutierrez, the photojournalist from WFAA! Speaking of whirlwind, she was in Alaska for a short visit – less than 4 days! She came all this way to join the team and see firsthand what goes into field work. And, that she did! She accompanied us on two day-hikes and from that, has produced some great work and given the Perot Museum In The Field program some wonderful exposure!
